THE 1EIGHTY GROUP


The 1Eighty Group Tutoring Service is one of the most affordable tutoring programs available and has helped hundreds of students improve their grades, raise their test scores, learn productive study skills, build their academic self-confidence, and reach their full potential.

The 1Eighty Group Tutoring Service was founded by Darren Smith, a Duval County Public School certified teacher with 15 years of successfully teaching mathematics. Darren also has over 10 years of experience tutoring students of varied ages and subjects. Additionally, Darren spent three years supporting and training teachers in effective instructional strategies as a school mathematics coach and district support representative.

The 1Eighty Group Tutoring Service uses proven educational techniques and practical experience to instruct children. Tutoring is available six days each week for students first through sixth grade. Additionally, we offer standardized test preparation such as FCAT and much more.

In order to provide youth with the education and employment skills necessary to achieve economic self-sufficiency, The 1Eighty Group offers a variety of programs that promote development of financial literacy.

The 1Eighty Group aims to provide students with the information and experiences necessary to gain the ability and confidence to make decisions and implement positive change in their own lives and inspire positive change in the lives of others.
