Company History
The 1Eighty Group, Inc. was founded in 2009 by a Duval County Public School teacher and a well-rounded banking industry expert, both with over 20 years of experience. The business was birthed out of its passion to empower disadvantaged youth with the knowledge and tools required to be competitive in today’s economy. Initially, they provided weekly empowerment sessions to local church youth groups and quickly expanded to offering Tutoring, College Preparation, Financial Literacy, and Workforce Readiness services to youth and adults throughout the community regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status.

Academic Enrichment
Tutoring
We provide a wide range of tutoring services. All services are performed by certified teachers and a team of tutors who are trained and dedicated to meeting the academic needs of each student.
College Preparation
We serve as a resource center to help youth develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to enroll in institutions of higher learning.
Financial Literacy
We offer financial education to help youth learn the basics of finance including budgeting, saving and how to handle money.
Workforce Readiness
We provide students with tools, information and experiences necessary to make career choices that will allow them to be competitive in today’s economy.
